Aim: want to find out how to be safe in science.
Equipment:
- bucket
- water
- gas
- tube
- safety glasses
- lighter
- detergent
Method:
- get a big bucket.
- put a squirt of detergent.
- fill it half way with water.(cold water)
- take your loose clothing, roll up your sleeves,tie it into a pony tail.
- connect tube in the gas up to the gas pipe and put the other end into the water.
- turn on the gas and make some bubbles.
- wet your hands and wrist up to you elbows.
- get a scoop of bubbles.
- hole the bubbles away from yourself
- using lighter,ignite the bottom of the bubbles.
- slowly open your hands.
Doing
- I saw a big fire right in front of my face.
- I felt the heat coming from the fire.
- i saw an orange figure going across my face.
- i was so amazed.
Explaining
- why does the fire go up?(because the air pushes it up)
- why is fire orange?(because of orange wood)
- were my hands hot?(no)
- did i have Adrenalin?(no)
- was it a great experience?(yes)
