Last day of festival of the arts

the last few week of festival of the arts was really noice i liked working with others while playing guitar. i had heeps of fun learning the chords like tha 'A' cord.

today i learnt how to do the smoke in the water. the E stings and learn other songs...

today we are doing a new beat the beat is an 'E' i haven't mastered it yet but i'm hoping i could in the future.

1. i chose this is because i like flowers and and it was easy to make so yeah i like it a lot. and i think the flower is a good choice because flower are beautiful 

Gymnastics

Gymnastics:

today i want to practice more hand stands and cart wheels and i'm also interested on the trampoline so i may do that.

today i had fun in P.E Gymnastics i had a great time doing this I've  learnt my fear a back flip it was amazing.

Aim: to get water out of the tree

1. to get water off a tree
2. with a plastic bag
3. use rocks so the water goes down the bag
4. wait for afew days
5. 
   

 Method:

1. put bag/zip lock on the tree (on a branch).
2. use rubber band to tie it on. 
3. wait for a week 
4. see if there is water in the bag/zip lock.
5. measure in a measuring tube.

P.E

Gymnastics:

In P.E we are starting a Gymnastics unit, I wasn't a really a gymnastics kinds guy but i think it's alright.

at the end of this period i had so much fun maybe I should start getting into it, i did find some bits boring but I enjoyed it at the same time.

Hauora in Science

Aim: I want to find out how long can meat be preserved.

Method:Try to preserve meat with salt, sugar, and honey.
which of these 

Put 3 pieces of meat into a bag and then put either salt,honey o sugar into he bag. You can try all of these by using the three ingredients and three zip-lock bags.

Equipment:

1. honey.
2. salt.
3. sugar.
4. Sanitary Gloves.
5. Zip-lock bags/Sandwich bags.
6. meat.

DESCRIPTION:

We took pictures of the meat and it turn out bad. the honey was really wet. and the salted meat was kinda good the outside it looked good but the inside was not that good it was still meaty in the inside and the sugared was pretty much the same with the honeyed meat beside from that it was so fun and yucky.

How to be safe in Science

Planing
Aim: want to find out how to be safe in science.

Equipment:

• bucket
• water
• gas
• tube
• safety glasses
• lighter
• detergent

Method:

1. get a big bucket.
2. put a squirt of detergent.
3. fill it half way with water.(cold water)
4. take your loose clothing, roll up your sleeves,tie it into a pony tail.
5. connect tube in the gas up to the gas pipe and put the other end into the water.
6. turn on the gas and make some bubbles.
7. wet your hands and wrist up to you elbows.
8. get a scoop of bubbles.
9. hole the bubbles away from yourself
10. using lighter,ignite the bottom of the bubbles.
11. slowly open your hands.

Doing

1. I saw a big fire right in front of my face.
2. I felt the heat coming from the fire.
3. i saw an orange figure going across my face.
4.  i was so amazed.

Explaining

1. why does the fire go up?(because the air pushes it up)
2. why is fire orange?(because of orange wood)
3. were my hands hot?(no)
4. did i have Adrenalin?(no)
5. was it a great experience?(yes)  

i worked hard on this so please respect it...
