Science

Yesterday we used potassium permanganate by putting it into 6 different test tubes. In the first test tube, we put 10 ml's of water in the remaining 5 test tubes we put 5 mil's of water. We used tweezers and added a single crystal of potassium permanganate to test tube one. We gently shook the test tube until the crystal dissolved. Next, we used a pipette and took 5 ml's from test tube one and poured it into test tube 2. We repeated this with all the test tubes until we got to test tubes 6.

our result was diluting the potassium permanganate so the last test tube was considerably lighter in color compared to test tube one. I found out that concentration is a strong form of liquid and dilution is a watered down version of a liquid.
